| Whaling City Rowing is
continuing to offer its youth rowing program for children ages 14-17 into

Participants will learn how to row replica James Beetle whaleboats, and
receive lessons on basic boating safety and the maritime heritage and
environmental issues of New Bedford harbor. The program takes place at
Pope’s Island Marina on Thursdays from 6pm to 7pm, September 11th through
October 16th. The fee for the fall program is $25 per child

| Weather Considerations: Every
effort is made to maintain our rowing schedule. However, participants and
parents are reminded that safety of rowers is our #1 priority. In every
instance the program coordinator and/or the boatsteerer will monitor
weather conditions at the time of the row and determine if a row will take
place or not. We trust that all will understand the need for this policy. |
